Stability And Making Space

There is beauty in diversity. Do you believe it? I believe it. Sure, it's challenging when one person's way of being themselves is not your way of being yourself, but we don't change the world by convincing everyone to become like us. We change the world by making space for everyone to be wholly themselves, just as they were fearfully and wonderfully created to be.

Stability enables us to be at peace with the differences. Sometimes even to rejoice over them, because it brings the realization that when all this creativity learns to work together, the world cannot help but be a better place.

God has got it covered. The diversity of minds, hearts, callings, dreams; all weaving a divinely intricate history. It's something to marvel at, not be discouraged over.

Make space for the differences today. As the old saying goes, agree to disagree, while continuing to love. Of course it's hard! It's an ongoing, daily empathy challenge. But I believe we are all up to the task. I believe it's some of our greatest work. May you find grace, especially in this.
